Studio Glass Class Schedule
Glass Totem Wall Hanging ~ (Level: Intermediate)
This class is for students who have some past knowledge of glass. Come create an art piece worthy of hanging on your wall. Lisa will teach you how to put multiple images, copper and colorants into the glass in a creative, exciting way. This totem does not have to be Native American in design. Expand your thoughts and create images, shapes, numbers, lettering and more to add to your totem. This is a "graffiti of life" piece! After your design comes out of the kiln, you will have a piece of art ready to be mounted on your wall. Wall hanger included. The dimensions of the final piece will be approximately 8"x30". |

Glass Tray ~ (Level: Beginner)
This class is designed for someone who wants to come into the studio, make a usable glass tray and have fun doing it! No experience needed. Decide what image you would like in your glass and bring a drawing, picture, clip art or use images I have at the studio. Art size no bigger than 7” x 14” . This class also great for private parties, groups or Girls Night Out! Men, don’t feel left out. This class is great for you, too! |

Glass Round Art Piece ~ (Level: Intermediate)
This class is for those who already have some knowledge of working with glass or have taken the Tray class. Come make a 15” round textured piece that will be ready to be displayed in your home or office. Sky’s the limit on what this piece will look like. You will learn how to take a base image and carry it through all levels of the glass and how to add the colorant to make a painting of sorts into your glass. Display stand comes with this class. Total height of the piece will be 22”. |

Glass Cross ~ (Level: Beginner)
No experience needed to take this class. Come make a glass cross to hang on your wall or display on your table. The cross will be 12” to 16” tall. The hanger is included. You will learn how to put any kind of image into the glass that you would like, or use layers of glass to make a unique piece. You may add color to your design or leave it crystal clear. |

Mosaic Tray ~ (Level: Intermediate)
No previous knowledge necessary for this class. We will use a specific type of glass system to create a usable but unique tray. You will learn how to cut small pieces of glass to create your mosaic design. When fired, the small pieces of glass melt into the clear glass tray to become one. Tray size is 7”x14”. Come with a design you can trace onto the clear glass. This class is also great for private parties, groups or girls night out. Men welcome always! |

Encaustic Painting Workshop
Come have fun and learn all you need to know about encaustic painting and how to get started. This workshop is one day but split into three sections to help guide you into making amazing pieces of art. |

Morning: |
Introduction to encaustic-all things wax! You will learn all about products, safety, surfaces and how to get started. You’ll have time to play and learn how to build smooth and textured surfaces. This section will build a great foundation and comfort to help you apply future encaustic techniques. |

Late Morning: |
Encaustic collage – we will use collage elements of designer papers, photo copies, buttons, metal and other found objects in the wax to create sample boards for you to take home. |
Afternoon: |
Advanced elements from burning your wax, oil glazing, transfer, scraping back or building dimension. This workshop will give you so many ideas and sample boards to take home. |
